I sure can meditate with this song. Love everything about it. Instrumentals are awesome as are lyrics and voice. I would look for this group again.

I very much enjoy the classic rock sound of this indie alternative song. Vocalist has a great voice that carries the tune well. Solid performance.

I love the title of the song. It really puts me in the mood to listen to the song. The voice of Joy Mover also is extremely unique. I find the lyrics alluring as well. I really enjoy her vocal inflections.

I like the music of the song. The bass and drum parts are awesome. The vocal is good and the song structure is amazing. The lyrics fits with the music.

Joy Mover: I love "Heaven in Your Heart." Your sound reminds me of Heart and Bonnie Raitt - music from the good old days! Please keep sharing your music.

I loved the beat, and the melody. It was very catchy and I can picture myself humming this song later in the day. I enjoyed the vocals and the chorus.

I really like the track it has a classic sound, is sort of reminds me of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The instrumental is pretty chill And high quality

I like this song because it is happy and really laid back which I can relate to. Also I like the creative nature of the lyrics within this song.

I liked the kind of ominous, mysterious feeling this music had to them. The strong, clean vocals really made the song enjoyable to listen to.

I liked it. It was a weird song. But it was original and I really haven't heard anything like that in a while. Definitely a neat band.

I like how the sounds of the drums gives the music a fantastic and solid drive. The artist vocals are very charming and sensual also.

Nice strong snare drum sound on this one. Her vocals on this sounded amazing on this. Nice classic 70s rock sound here.

Pretty fun song that I could listen to again. The vocals are very unique and I think thats what makes it so interesting to listen to.

LYRICS

Do you know the way to heaven out there in the dark?
I once read a Brahman said that heaven’s in your heart
If that’s true and we all knew it was right there from the start
If you conceive could you believe.... that heaven’s in your heart?

Have you ever been to heaven, been to heaven in your heart?
Have you ever been to heaven, been to heaven in your heart?
Have you ever been to heaven, been to heaven in your heart?
Have you ever been to heaven, been to heaven in your heart?

And it’s nice to know it – it feels so nice to know
And it’s nice to know that heaven is so nice to know
And it’s nice to know that heaven's right here

Have you ever been to heaven, knocked upon the door?
Billions believe we’ve been here countless times before
If that’s true and what we do keeps us coming back for more
For what could be eternity, a heaven…to die for

Have you ever been to heaven, been to heaven in your heart?
Have you ever been to heaven, been to heaven in your heart?
Have you ever been to heaven, been to heaven in your heart?
Have you ever been to heaven, been to heaven in your heart?

And it’s nice to know, heaven is nice - nice to know
And it’s nice to know that heaven’s so - nice to know
And it’s nice to know that heaven's right - there in your heart

Have you ever been to heaven been to heaven in your heart?
(Have you ever been?)
Have you ever been to heaven been to heaven in your heart?
(Have you ever been?)
Have you ever been to heaven been to heaven in your heart?
(Have you ever been?)
Have you ever been to heaven been to heaven in your heart?

TONY ZONFRELLI: GUITAR
Around the age of 6 I became very interested in music. My father was a local DJ and that allowed me to spin records, hear music that people liked, or disliked, and see the reactions which made me realize I wanted to make music, not just play records. With the help of very supportive parents I was able to get my first guitar at 7 and played every second that I could.

I was involved in a number of bands throughout my teens, finding myself inspired by musicians like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Zakk Wylde, Chuck Berry, B.B. King, and Eric Clapton to name a small few, but being self taught I found it difficult to mesh with the Grunge generation of the 90’s and I began playing and writing songs for myself. That’s when I became interested in the recording and producing side of music.

Recording and producing has opened more doors then playing ever has for me. Again self taught, I’ve met some great engineers that because I was so young were willing to share secrets that they wouldn’t give to anyone and after years of learning I started a small studio in a small town in Rhode Island.

Having this studio (NEF Records) I started meeting clients from all over New England and on the way home from a meeting actually, I received a phone call from Joy Mover about possibly doing some recording. Little did I know that she would open up and accept me into her music the way that she did but instead of just a recording session she invited me to play on a track. I’ve never passed up an opportunity to play and after being a part of Heaven In Your Heart I’m glad I didn’t this time either.

STEVE WEINER: BASS
Played in many successful local bands starting at 11. Cut teeth playing "The Beatles" and "The Rolling Stones" in the 60s. Steve has always found a place to show his chops. Influenced heavily by Jack Bruce of Cream, Berry Oakley of The Allman Bros, Mel Schacher of GFR, he went on to cover many of the great bassists of each decade. Later influences of Robert DeLeo of STP, and the stylish Pino Paladino resonated, and show in the more polished approach to his favorite axe, a 2001 Peavey Millennium 5, that gigs and is the go to for studio as well.

TONY ALICCHIO: DRUMS
My mother influenced and supported my playing when I started getting into it at when I was 10 years old. Now at age 57 I can say I have been extremely fortunate to have played with many talented and committed musicians which I feel has raised the bar for me to play on higher level.
Influences for me were John Bonham, Buddy Rich, Terry Bozzio, Virgil Donati, Max Weinberg.

When I was old enough to get out and play functions I was hooked.
First band was called Redwood very Santana like with a full percussion section to compliment the band.

Moved onto to have great success with a group of local guys called “Thunder Road” playing the likes of the Beatles, Elvis Costello, Buddy Holly, Bruce Springsteen. This band eventually morphed into an all original band called “The Promise”. We traveled up and down the eastern seaboard playing various well known venues and eventually landed an opening gig for John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band. As time would have it, the members of this band moved on to other projects. Several of us stayed together to become “The RI Storm” which had a 12 year run at venues throughout RI, Mass, and Ct. I currently play with “ Granite City Rock Band” based out of Westerly RI.

I am completely and wholeheartedly content with the great musicians I have become affiliated with. I also enjoy doing studio work and freelance live performances. Music has also been a great source of mental and physical therapy.
My drums of choice are Ludwig and DW. I have a wonderful collection in several configurations to accommodate whatever type of venue or situation presents.

Joy Mover Hopkinton, Rhode Island

Listen closely. The next voice you hear will be a new one. Newer than new. A coy, edgy, imaginative voice. A shivery, fugitive voice, barely touching the notes, entering and departing the ear without leave. The voice belongs to Joy Mover. She is very different; provocative, thoughtful, interesting. To follow her in song is to exercise the mind. Her voice is always… beautiful ... more
