Till There Was You Music & Lyrics by Meredith Wilson There were bells on the hill But I never heard them ringing, No, I never heard them at all Till there was you. There were birds in the sky But I never saw them winging No, I never saw them at all Till there was you. And there was music, And there were wonderful roses, They tell me, In sweet fragrant meadows of dawn, and dew. There was love all around But I never heard it singing No, I never heard it at all Till there was you…

‘Have You Ever Loved? Music by Joy Mover & John Paul + Lyrics by Joy Mover Have you ever loved? Have you ever needed someone? Have you ever loved? Have you felt your heart come undone? Given everything Heard the songs love sings Tell me have you ever really loved someone?
Have you ever touched? Have you really let yourself go? Wanted them so much That you really lost all control Fallen in so deep That you’re losing all your sleep Tell me, have you ever really loved someone?
Destino searched all the stars to find us Lit up the path behind us Finally found our way Primero it feels like the first time Our hearts dance in the same rhyme Now we awake in a brand new day
Do you still believe? Do you still believe there’s someone? Who could fill the need? Is that something you’d still run from? Could you now reveal? What you truly feel Tell me, have you ever really loved someone?
Destino searched all the stars to find us Lit up the path behind us Finally found our way Primero it feels like the first time Our hearts dance in the same rhyme Now we awake in a brand new day
Have you ever loved? Have you ever needed someone? Have you ever loved? Have you felt your heart come undone Flown upon love’s wings To the destiny it brings Tell me, have you ever really loved someone?
Do you still believe? Do you still believe there’s someone? Who could fill the need? Is that something you’d still run from? Baby can’t you see You are everything to me Could it be this endless search is done? Could it be it’s me who’s your someone?

Midnight Oil Music & Lyrics by Joy Mover When the week is over make the turn
Light the midnight oil and let it burn Shake off those blues you had all day Turn off the news, go out and play Celebrate till dawn brings on the day Get it while you can that’s what they say Don’t have too much time to get away What does it take to have some fun? Lie on the beach, feeling the sun Dancing in the moonlight with someone
So little time for ourselves, Livin for somebody else Day in and out, till we’re old and grey Dance while we feel it Spin till we turn it around Day into night, work into play
Let’s join the party, under the moonlight We’ll dance, beneath the stars and We’ll still be burnin till midnight Celebrating our lives
I declare the weekend’s here to stay That’s the way I want it everyday Shake off the blues, turn off the news You pay your dues everyday Turn off the blues with your dancin shoes Let yourself cruise through the day...

Maria’s Song Music & Lyrics by Joy Mover First you must look…Then you can find Gotta keep on searchin till you get what you need… all of the time Go, it will be fine… As the wind blows…Leavin the past behind Gotta keep on movin gotta follow you heart, follow the signs Go, enjoy the ride
Head toward the sun…Out of the madness These days are done…Over and gone with the tide of sadness
Dream a dream oh Maria… Dream a dream Maria Visions you see oh Maria Where you can be Maria
Cause you’ve had your share of despair Just know that I’ll always care
Now that you’ll go…Made up your mind I will always be there but you know that the road it has to wind Go, this is your time You heard the call, echoing deep inside When you hear those voices you know that you can’t push-push them aside No, no place to hide
I’m here for you, heart and in spirit Thyself be true…Listen and you will hear it
Dream a dream oh Maria… Dream a dream Maria Visions you see oh Maria Where you can be Maria Cause you’ve had your share of despair Just know that I’ll always be there….
This is your time, follow the signs, as the road winds, never goodbye…. See ya, Maria...

Home Sweet Home Music & Lyrics by Joy Mover Counting the hours, counting the ways that I love you And you…know it, Yes you…know how much I do Enough for a lifetime with you Enough for a lifetime with you Spending the days, thinking of ways that I love you And you…know it; yes you…know the way I do Enough for a lifetime for two Enough for a lifetime with you Once in a lifetime Just once in your life he comes along And you belong Once in a lifetime, just once in your life You find him there, out of nowhere And it’s good to be home sweet home Good to be home sweet home Good to be home sweet home Good to be home Will you be there; will you always be there when I need you? Cause you…know it, yes you…know how much I do Enough or a lifetime for two Enough for a lifetime with you Once in a lifetime Just once in your life he comes along And you belong Once in a lifetime, just once in your life You find him there, he just appears And it’s good to be home sweet home Good to be home sweet home Good to be home sweet home Good to be home

about

San Francisco, CA - Much to the excitement of music aficionados around the world, we are delighted to present Joy Mover’s digital EP, ‘Sweets-100% Ear Candy.' Legendary Jazz Multi-Instrumentalist & Grammy-recognized Ira Sullivan was effusive in his praise of Joy’s talent saying, "To follow her in song is to exercise the mind. Sometimes easy and fluid, sometimes intricate and challenging, her voice is always… beautiful."

The 6 pieces in this assortment are each different-flavored versions of songs first heard on Joy's critically acclaimed self-titled 2012 debut.

As an added feature, these tracks have been sonically 'Sweetened' as in 'enhanced' with proprietary technology served up by Pro-MasterHD, co-invented by Award-Winning Recording/Audio Engineer and friend, Shelly Yakus, in L.A. (John Lennon's "Imagine")!!

Boston's Berklee College Assoc. Professor of Ensemble & Nashua Hall-of-Famer, John Paul (Guitar Virtuoso), Arranged, Produced, Engineered + played additional multi-Instrumental accompaniments on Bass, Drums, Percussion and Keyboards heard on Joy's originals “Midnight Oil," “Maria’s Song" and “Home Sweet Home.” John also co-Arranged "Have You Ever Loved?" as well as co-Composed the chorus!

Miami's own Mike Levine, Produced, co-Arranged + played Keys & Synth on Joy's original Salsa, “Have You Ever Loved?” which also features Mike's smokin' Synth-Flute and John Paul's Spanish Guitar solos!! Mike's Arrangement & Keyboards accompany a funked-out R&B version of “Till There Was You.” This 'un-wrapped' version also features Joy's big brother & Jazz Giant, Bob Mover's lyrical Tenor Sax accompaniment and iconic solo. Following Bob's solo, Ira Sullivan joins in (also on Tenor) and continues through the outro.

To deepen the the Miami-ties even further, another U of M Jazz Alum + distinguished 'Jazz-Doctor,' Dan Warner, PhD. (formerly with Al Jarreau ++), tops it all off with his Super-powered, killer-Guitar outro!

Along with the release of the "Sweets" EP, Joy has completed the music and legalese for her forthcoming 2nd full-length LP, 'Insight'. This 8 song collection of 5 originals & 3 covers is Arranged and Produced by Vinnie Zummo of NYC. Vinnie is best known for his seven-year stint as featured Guitar-Soloist with the Joe Jackson Band, in addition to his eclectic approach to music. Joy is now working toward the creation of the physical CD for production and distribution.

about

Joy Mover Hopkinton, Rhode Island

Listen closely. The next voice you hear will be a new one. Newer than new. A coy, edgy, imaginative voice. A shivery, fugitive voice, barely touching the notes, entering and departing the ear without leave. The voice belongs to Joy Mover. She is very different; provocative, thoughtful, interesting. To follow her in song is to exercise the mind. Her voice is always… beautiful ... more
